Quilting and Applique Shop Website
I designed and developed this e-commerce website (using HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery) for a small Toronto based quilting. The site had to be clean, simple, and easy to use for an older audience, as well as cross browser compatible; it currently works in Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, Opera, and Internet Explorer 7, 8, and 9. The client also wanted me to use pink and brown as the main colours for the site and its brand. I began with the company logo design and ended up creating a more classic typographic logo. I used the same brand identity and feel on the business cards as well as the website. The website went through many changes and I ended up using Ecwid ajax widgets that could be integrated into the site for the e-commerce portion, which was my biggest challenges, especially since it was something I was not very familiar with.
